Who can ask for removal

• A business can ask for its own listing to be removed.
• Anyone can report content that is inaccurate, unlawful or infringing.

Removing your own listing

If you manage a listing, ask us to remove it from your dashboard or by contacting us. We will confirm you are authorised before removing it.

What happens to the URL

A deliberately removed listing returns HTTP 410 at its old address, so search engines learn it is gone rather than treating it as a temporary error. We do not leave a removed listing returning a page that looks live.

Removal on our initiative

We may remove or suspend a listing that breaches our policies, that duplicates another listing, that appears to be for a business that has closed, or where we cannot establish that the information is accurate.

Appeals

If we remove a listing and you believe that was wrong, contact us and we will review the decision.
