Who we are

LocalDubaiBusiness ("we", "us", "the platform") operates localdubaibusiness.com, an independent business discovery and information platform focused on Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What this platform is

We help people find businesses. We list businesses, organise them by category, service and area, and let users describe a requirement so we can match it against the listings we hold.

What this platform is not

We are not a party to any agreement between a user and a business listed here. We do not supply the goods or services described in any listing. We do not employ, supervise, license, endorse, insure or guarantee any listed business.

Businesses are independent third parties

Every business listed on this platform is an independent third party. Any contract, payment, booking, quotation or dispute is strictly between the user and that business.

Information accuracy

Business information may be supplied by the business itself, by users, by our own team, or by other permitted sources, and may be incomplete or out of date. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but we do not warrant that any particular listing is accurate, current or complete. Users should independently verify relevant information, credentials, licences, pricing, availability and suitability before engaging a business.

Accounts

You must give accurate information when creating an account, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform to submit false or misleading information, to claim a business you are not authorised to represent, to scrape or bulk-extract data, to attempt to bypass security controls, or for any unlawful purpose. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

Listings and verification

Listing a business does not mean we have verified it. Where a listing carries a "Verified by LocalDubaiBusiness" badge, this has the specific and limited meaning set out in the Business Verification Policy. Verification is not an endorsement, a guarantee, a regulatory certification, or an assessment of service quality.

Sponsored placement

Some placements on this platform are paid for. They are labelled "Elite · Sponsored" or "Featured · Sponsored". Paid placement does not affect organic ranking, the LocalDubai Profile Score, Match Score or verification status. See the Ranking & Advertising Disclosure.

LocalDubai Profile Score

The LocalDubai Profile Score is a measure of profile completeness, verification and platform activity signals. It is not a rating, recommendation, endorsement or assessment of the quality of a business's products or services. See the LocalDubai Profile Score Methodology.

Intellectual property

The platform, its design, software, structure and content (other than content supplied by businesses and users) belong to us or our licensors. See the Intellectual Property Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, information published on this platform, or from any dealings between you and a listed business. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may amend these terms. The version number and effective date at the top of this page tell you which version applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Status of this document

This document has been prepared as a working draft for a Dubai/UAE-focused platform. It has not been reviewed by a qualified legal practitioner. It must be reviewed and amended by a UAE-qualified lawyer before LocalDubaiBusiness accepts payment or operates commercially.
