Elite & Featured Listing Terms

What you are buying

Elite and Featured are advertising placements. You are buying visibility in clearly labelled sponsored sections of category and area pages, for the period agreed.

What you are not buying

You are not buying, and payment cannot produce:

• a higher organic position;
• a higher or different LocalDubai Profile Score;
• a higher Match Score in Ask LocalDubai;
• verified status;
• removal or demotion of any other business.

These are separate systems and the platform is built so that commercial data cannot reach them.

Labelling

Every paid placement is labelled "Elite · Sponsored" or "Featured · Sponsored". We will not present a paid placement as an organic recommendation, and we will not accept a request to remove or soften that label.

Profile Score in paid placements

Profile Scores are deliberately not displayed on Elite or Featured cards.

Appearing twice

A business running a campaign may also appear in the organic list on the same page. Its organic position there is exactly what it would be without any campaign.

Eligibility and suspension

We may decline or end a campaign for a listing that breaches our policies, that is suspended, or whose content we consider misleading. Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Pricing

Pricing is not published. It is agreed in writing before a campaign starts.

Status of this document

This document has been prepared as a working draft for a Dubai/UAE-focused platform. It has not been reviewed by a qualified legal practitioner. It must be reviewed and amended by a UAE-qualified lawyer before LocalDubaiBusiness accepts payment or operates commercially.
