What the score is
The LocalDubai Profile Score is a number from 0 to 100 that measures how complete and how verified a business profile is on this platform, together with platform activity signals.
What the score is not
It is not a rating, recommendation, endorsement or assessment of the quality of a business's products or services. It is not derived from Google, from any review site, or from customer feedback. It cannot be purchased.
The components
Core identity (10), contact completeness (12), contact verification (14), website (8), location data (10), areas served (8), category and service depth (12), opening hours (6), profile assets (8), verification status (12). Total 100.
How it is produced
Component values are read from stored information, a fixed formula converts them to points, and the points are summed. The same stored inputs always produce the same score. Weights are stored in the database and versioned; every stored score records the version it was calculated under, and every recalculation is written to a history record.
No manual override
There is no administrative field that sets a score. Administrators correct the underlying business information, and the system recalculates from it.
Insufficient information
Where fewer than four components are populated, we display "Limited information available" instead of a number. We do not publish a low number where a low number would imply a judgement we have not made, and we do not attach negative labels to any business.
When it is recalculated
On profile save, on a verification status change, when the weighting configuration changes, and nightly.

Status of this document
